Saturday September 21st, 2024 completed Mexican Tile Renew Project at The Pink Elephant Restaurant Bar in Boca Grande Fl with Mex Tile that was installed in 1947, over 77 years ago, and the Mex Tile has had severe water damage over the years. The white spots you see on the Mexican tile in the before photo above is called Efflorescence which is caused by water getting under the Mex tile via a flood or constant water intrusion. The source of the water must be diverted or shut down.

Built in 1926 The San Marco Hotel aka KMI Building, present day San Marco building with businesses and residential units, a 3-story structure built soon after Hotel Venice, offered multiple shops on the ground floor and 92 rooms above.

The customer also had 1,500sf of new Mexican tile that came with a dull finish in the kitchen, great room, and hall that he wanted to match with the satin gloss finish in the living room areas of Mexican tile.
