NEVER STEAM CLEAN YOUR MEXICAN TILE FLOOR RESULTS ARE DISASTROUS, CALL MEXICAN TILE RENEW SARASOTA FL 941-926-7444. Mexican Tile – Saltillo Tile needs to be stripped, cleaned & sealed. Never “Steam Clean” Mexican tile floors or use vinegar (Acetic acid) it will ruin the finish. Mexican Tile Renew does not use solvent based and dangerous products. 

If you are thinking about steam cleaning your Mexican tiles DO NOT DO IT. Hot steam water is the enemy for porous clay Mexican tiles with an applied finish, and steam cleaning them will surely ruin the tile and the sealer. If you have your Mexican tile floor steam cleaned the Mexican tile sealer will turn white and hazy, dull, and begin to peel, see photos above.
