FLOOR PROBLEMS WE CAN HELP

Degraded non-slip liner adhering to glaze

DO NOT USE RUBBER PADS UNDER CARPET ON MEX TILE

Tarry stains from conventional rug backing

Under adverse conditions, after strong flooring strippers have been used, it may sometimes be necessary to sand old Mexican tiles that have Mex-Seal embedded in the tile and/or black/white dots from a rubber pad embedded in the tile, an oscillating hand held sander is used and does not mark the tile with any circles. A simple sanding will take care of the problem seen above using a small oscillating sander, oscillating sanders are easy to control, you can use them to round edges, sand inside corners as well as smooth a flat or rough surface. If stain appears near the surface of sealed clay, gently try sanding away stain. Follow this step by cleaning and re-sealing with a sealer that will color enhance, see http://www.saltillotileconnection.com/care-and-maintenance/caring-for-it/  see our website www.mexicantilerenew.com
